Type Locality: Vellore (Tamil Nadu)
Rare, known from Vellore (Tamil Nadu) (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013).

Conservation Status:

 

This species is listed as Vulnerable in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (https://www.iucnredlist.org/).


This day gecko can be found in the rocks in scrub forests (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013). There is no database available for the population and conservation status of the gecko. Habitat destruction by tourism related infrastructure development is a known threat to the habitat of species (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013).
