Day geckos are endemic to Western Ghats. In monsoon, most water bodies have constant flow of water. On a recent trip, I noticed a Cnemaspis girii crossing a small waterbody by walking on the water surface. This might be the first photographic evidence of the Day Gecko ability to walk on the surface of water bodies to cross them.
