Craspedocephalus gramineus

This bulged eye condition may occur due to several reasons like fungal infection, when a part of shedded skin remains attached to the pupil which facilitates parasites to harbour in that region. This condition may also occur due to abscess in occipital region. A snake can live its whole life along with the abscess i.e. not fatal at all. But if it's fungal infection, there are chances that it may spread in other body organs and ultimately result in mortality.
