Common, known from Junagadh (Saurashtra, Gujarat) (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013).

Conservation Status:


This species is listed as Vulnerable in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (https://www.iucnredlist.org/).


The gecko can be observed in rocky habitats near small perennial streams surrounded by vegetation and boulders, mainly in dry mixed deciduous teak forests (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013). There is no data available on its population status, though tourism and religious activities on its type locality are potential threats to its habitat (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013).
