Type Locality: Dorle (Ratnagiri, Maharashtra)
Common, known from Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg (Maharashtra) (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013).

Conservation Status:


This species is listed as Vulnerable in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (https://www.iucnredlist.org/).


The gecko is found on open, rocky crests of hills with scrub patched surrounded by semi-evergreen forests (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013). There is no data available on its population status, though rock mining and quarrying are major threats to the habitat of species (Srinivasulu and Srinivasulu, 2013).
